Midrand police arrested the women on 14th Road in Noordwyk.
Midrand police communications officer Constable Matome Tlamela said, “The complainant alleged that he saw two unknown women on 14th Road who looked suspicious.He stopped them and suddenly they ran to a white Tazz that was parked across the road and drove off. The complainant chased them with his taxi managed to stop them.”
The complainant then searched the two women and found a bunch of house keys in their handbags.
“The suspects were found in possession of 77 house keys that do not belong to them.
Midrand police then arrested the women for being in possession of stolen house keys.
