Quick-thinking cops nab their men

VORNA VALLEY - The quick response of Midrand police led to the arrest of three men.

This on the corner of 7th and Harry Gallaun roads in Vorna Valley on 18 February at 11.40am.

Midrand police communications officer Constable Matome Tlamela said the men were between the ages of 25 and 29 and were in possession of stolen property.

“Midrand police received a complaint of theft while they were patrolling the area and responded. Upon arrival, the informer gave them a description of the suspects and told police they were on their way to Olievenhoutbosch. The police drove around searching for them and fortunately, they saw two men carrying step ladders who matched the description,” said Tlamela.

They were arrested and face charges of possession of suspected stolen property.
