Midrand police communications officer, Constable Matome Tlamela said the complainant was hijacked of his silver-grey Audi.
“According to the complainant, he withdrew money from the bank and drove back home,” said Tlamela. “Upon his arrival, his wife got out of the vehicle to open the gate. Suddenly the complainant noticed a white Hyundai behind his vehicle. Two men climbed out of the Hyundai, pointed a firearm at the victims and demanded money.”
She said the suspects took the money and the handbag of the complainant’s wife, and drove off with the complainant’s vehicle.
“No one has been arrested and the police are busy with investigations hoping to bring the suspects to book,” said Tlamela.
