Midrand resident crowned Miss Veet 2015
MIDRAND - One of Midrand's own has been crowned Miss Veet SA 2015.
Odirile Sepeng, a 22-year-old beauty and the eldest of three children, said she is happy that her goals are being realised. “I went into the Veet competition with the intention to learn, grow and expand my knowledge and confidence. Veet encourages every woman to love and embrace their femininity,” said Sepeng.
She added, “I believe I possess the ability to reflect my positive attitude and inner confidence in the manner in which I communicate and relate to people.”
Sepeng said she is filled with excitement at the thought of having a chance to influence women and encourage them to express themselves without feeling suppressed. She said she is blessed to come from a family that grounds and supports her in all that she does. “My parents play a huge role in molding and guiding me in the right direction.”
Sepeng matriculated in 2011, her other love interest and talent is visual arts. “It fascinates me to see the reaction of the audience when they view my artwork as it brings a sense of curiosity and introspection.”
As she begins her reign as Miss Veet SA 2015, she is also studying towards a BCom Law Degree.
