BMW parked for more than two months at shopping centre
CARLSWALD - Shoppers who frequent Carlswald Lifestyle Centre have enquired with Midrand Reporter about a white BMW that has been parked at the shopping centre for more than two months.
There has been much speculation on the owner’ s whereabouts and why the car has been left there for such a long time.
The centre’s manager Paul Grabe told Midrand Reporter, “We have no idea who dropped off the car, or the circumstances that led to it being here. We have not formally reported it at the police station, but whenever a police officer comes to the centre we tell them about the car.”
Grabe said the vehicle would be moved to another location until the owner had been found.
Midrand Police spokesperson Constable Nanty Belebesi said, “The Crime Intelligence Gathering Unit has been notified about the vehicle and will check its status.”
