There’s a market for this market

TEMBISA - ARE you creative and artistic?

The Tembisa Lifestyle Market is looking for more people to showcase their work in its market stalls. One of the market representatives Lebo Mukansi said there was space for young business people to promote their businesses, goods and services.

Mukansi said the market was open every Sunday and currently hosted T-shirt makers, vintage fashion, local designer fashion stalls, a tattoo studio, art stalls, a photography booth, and food and drink stalls.

“We don’t charge entry fees and we only charge R100 per stall for the stall holders,” he added.

The market is also a social space for people looking for a space to have a great time on a weekend. Market organisers are planning an array of activities such as social dance lessons, onsite music lessons, and documentary and film screenings.

The market is situated in Tembisa, Sangweni section.
