As part of the Ivory Park Police Station’s efforts to improve the working relationship with the local community, a police delegation from the station joined a group of local churches on 26 January at the Rabie Ridge community hall to bring the community and the police closer.
Churches under the Greater Ivory Park Pastors Forum banner invited the Ivory Park police officers to a prayer session aimed at acknowledging the good work that the police are doing in keeping communities safe. The pastors furthermore prayed for the safety of the policemen and women because of the occupational hazards which come with the job.
