Each year, new volunteers are trained, and this year, on 2 and 3 February, 19 counsellors were trained by Arend in the auditorium of the Midrand Fire Station.

The new volunteers will be placed at empowerment centres in police stations in Midrand, Olifantsfontein and Kempton Park.

Counsellors are on duty each day and can be reached on 076 4452 451 to make an appointment. The services are free and available to everyone.
