Vorna Valley residents clean the vlei

Vorna Valley Residents Association took to their Facebook page to thank the participants who joined this year's vlei cleanup.

Vorna Valley residents and local Midrand businesses shared a morning in the sun lending a hand to cleaning the vlei on Saturday, 23 September.

The cleanup is an annual initiative held by the Vorna Valley Residents Association.

The association took to its Facebook page after the event to extend thanks to those who had helped to arrange and contribute their efforts to the cleanup:

Ward 132 councillor Annette Deppe also joined the cleanup initiative.

Next Saturday, 30 September, residents throughout the City are urged to clean their neighbourhoods in the City’s A Re Sebetseng initiative.
