JOHANNESBURG – Shoprite invites you to make a difference in your communities with a small donation.
Wrap your gift at any Shoprite, Checkers or Checkers Hyper and make a difference with a small donation.
The #ActForChangeinitiative by the Shoprite group encourages retailers from 11 December to have their gifts wrapped at the store in exchange for a small donation. All proceeds from the initiative will be given to beneficiary charity organisations to spread some joy during the festive season.
Another way shoppers can support the #ActForChange drive is by contributing a R5 donation to the Disaster Relief Fund at any Shoprite or Checkers till points. All funds will be donated to the Gift of the Givers Foundation.
In addition, the Gift of the Givers together with the Shoprite Group will distribute 3 500 food parcels to various disadvantaged communities. Each food parcel can feed a family of four for 30 days
