The kids at Express!ons Junior Preparatory School had their whisks and bowls ready to celebrate Pancake Day.
Founder of the school, Carla De Gouveia, said that the excited little ones got together for Pancake Day on 5 March to make their own pancakes.
She added, “We used a special buttermilk pancake recipe which doesn’t have eggs as one of our children has an allergy. The children all took turns in assisting in making up batches of the batter.
“They enjoyed mixing and measuring. Each child then got to cook their own pancake and their favourite part of all, eating the pancake they had cooked.”
She said the children shared their experiences of making pancakes with their families that evening and some even enjoyed pancakes for lunch.
