Midrand police, Metro police, Ria Sebetsa Security Services and Axon Security Services embarked on a motorcade and a high visibility operation in Randjiespark on 15 November.
Spokesperson for the Midrand Police Station Constable Matome Tlamela said the operation set out to address business robberies and business break-ins as they handed out pamphlets and interacted with members of the community. Local authorities had conversations with business managers within the community, as they gave advice and tips to prevent the mentioned crimes.
Tlamela added that, overall, the operation was successful.
