ElevateHer, a business education company, announced its official launch to the public on May 6 during a workshop hosted at Blue Hills.
With a mission to empower entrepreneurs with modern business tools and skills needed to effectively launch, grow, and scale their businesses, ElevateHer has been providing skills development, mentorship, coaching, and training to entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs.
ElevateHer’s launch is a significant milestone in the fight against the high failure rate of start-up businesses in South Africa and youth unemployment, and its commitment to closing the gender gap in entrepreneurship is admirable.
During the workshop themed ‘Think like there is no box’, ElevateHer CEO and founder Anthea Windvogel said ElevateHer’s solution is AI-driven and provides access to tools and information both online and face-to-face.
“At ElevateHer, we understand the challenges entrepreneurs face when launching and growing their businesses, especially in South Africa where the failure rate is high,” said Windvogel.
“We understand that entrepreneurs are time-poor, and that is why we’ve developed a solution that is time and money-friendly, providing entrepreneurs with customised support and access to the tools and information they need to succeed.”
ElevateHer hosts boot camps that challenge the status quo in entrepreneurship development.
In June this year, the company will expand its offering to include entrepreneurship for children through its children’s ‘Bees-Ness’ Programme – a partnership between ElevateHer and the woman-owned Kainel Academy.
“We believe in developing entrepreneurs from grassroots levels up, and this new programme is a testament to that commitment.”
The company has already worked with over 30 entrepreneurs in the past three months and has also successfully implemented a high-performance academy in just 10 days, proving the effectiveness of its lean business model approach.
“The world of business is changing, and as such, we need different tools to effectively understand and manage our businesses.”
“Companies need people who think differently. That is why we focus on developing blue-sky thinking and mindsets that encourage innovation and creativity. We think like there is no box.”
