Locals and non-locals celebrate programme launch at Siemens

As the audience got a chance to mingle around and socialize with industry experts while enjoying tantalising food, they found the launch to be an excellent success.

Local and non-local residents recently converged at Siemens in Midrand to celebrate the launch of the African Girls Can Code (AGCCI) coding camp and the SieMent EmpowHer mentorship programme.

Ayanda Allie, a prominent radio and television news anchor, was the emcee for the day on May 31st, where a group of young girls kicked off the campaign by serenading the guests with a live choir and the event consisted of many more essential talks and awards giveaways.

As the audience got a chance to mingle around and socialize with industry experts while enjoying tantalising food, they found the launch to be a great success.
