The college was able to put smiles on the faces of countless local children, making this month even sweeter and more memorable.

It was inspiring to see the school community come together and contribute towards this amazing cause. Over 912 chocolate eggs were collected through the drive, which took place on the campus.

The college then distributed a total of 588 chocolate eggs to 120 children residing at the New Jerusalem Children’s Home located in President Park.

Not only did the children receive chocolate eggs, but the college VC Cares team also organised various fun activities for them to participate in, making it an unforgettable experience for children.

Moreover, the children were provided with meal packs to ensure they had enough energy for the Chocolate Egg Hunt.

But wait, there is more. The outreach programme did not end with the New Jerusalem Children. The remainder of the chocolate eggs were shared with children at Noordwyk Primary School.

This was a fantastic opportunity for the college to spread joy and happiness among the local community.

The impact of the outreach programme was tremendous, and the administration and human resource manager at New Jerusalem Children’s Home, Annique Addai-Afriyie, expressed deep gratitude towards The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall for their kind and generous gesture.

“All the interactions, in particular the Chocolate Egg Hunt and jumping castle were thoroughly enjoyed by the children who all felt included. The staff also enjoyed this well-deserved break,” concluded Addai-Afriyie

The home extended heartfelt thanks to the college’s efforts and contribution towards making the children’s day special and unforgettable.
