NYDA hosts young entrepreneurs to a successful SMME workshop.

Young entrepreneurs flocked to the Gallagher Convention Centre for an informative and engaging event where they learnt about running small businesses.

The Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMME) workshop was hosted by the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) with funding from organisations such as Standard Bank, SARS, Small Enterprise Finance Agency and others.

The workshop’s primary objective was to encourage innovation and creativity among young entrepreneurs.
Aiming to empower young entrepreneurs by providing them with a deep understanding of entrepreneurship and the funding opportunities available to them, was central to the day’s success.
This was done through presentations by the NYDA and other speakers from the funding organisations.

Presentations focused on exposing the attendees to new ideas, technologies, and business models to help them devise innovative solutions to their business challenges.
Attendees had an opportunity to network with other young entrepreneurs and learn from industry experts. This helped foster the growth of the next generation of business leaders in South Africa.
