Midrand police appreciated by Divine Intervention Approach

Deputy chairperson of the Divine Intervention Approach, Pastor Linda Padayachey said police deserved all the treatment and appreciation for keeping the community safe.

On October 18, the Divine Intervention Approach (DIA) hosted a lunch to celebrate the hard work of Midrand Police Station members in keeping the community safe.
The DIA also gave police officers a certificate of appreciation.

The DIA initiative seeks to mitigate and fight crime through prayers and more police visibility in the suburbs.
The deputy chairperson of DIA Pastor Linda Padayachey said it was a privilege to celebrate men and women in blue for putting their lives in danger in the line of duty.

“On behalf of Free to Be Me International and DIA, we want to thank all of you for the work you do in the community of Midrand. We appreciate and honour you because you are doing a diligent job for us and the entire community. May God bless and protect you,” said Padayachey.

The acting station commander Colonel Hosea Mantji on behalf of Brigadier David Molefi Tsotsotso, thanked the DIA and everyone who contributed towards the lunch.

“Colleagues, from now on, with the DIA, we are forging forward with our relationship. As the acting station commander, we need to work together. I need some healthy competition within all the departments. And those who do well will be rewarded. We thank you all for the donations here today, we hope this will further motivate our members,” said Mantji.

The DIA chairperson Pastor Mashane Mphahlele said they would host a prayer walk on November 2 to pray for crime hotspots in the Halfway House CBD.
