FootGolf South Africa crowns new champions at the Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate
The championship saw Mpho Mbele retain his men's title while Vuyiswa Ntombela narrowly defeated defending women's champion Kefilwe Mphake to claim first place in the women's category.
The serene landscapes of the Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate served as the perfect backdrop for the exhilarating FootGolf South Africa (FGSA) National Championship from October 27–29.
This year’s event showcased thrilling competition and remarkable talent across all categories.

In the men’s division, Mpho Mbele emerged victorious, retaining the championship title with a stunning performance. Letlhogonolo Masinda followed closely, securing second place, while Tshepo Kekana completed the podium in third.
The women’s competition was equally fierce, with Vuyiswa Ntombela clinching the national championship title in a nail-biting finish, edging out defending champion Kefilwe Mphake by just two points. Kefilwe took home the silver, and Boitumelo Maleke rounded off the women’s top three in third place.
In the men’s senior category, Clinton White led the field with an impressive first-place finish, followed by Scott Keevy in second and Kekeletso Moalosi in third.
This championship not only highlighted the growing popularity of FootGolf in South Africa but also brought together players, families, and fans in a celebration of sportsmanship and community spirit.
