
Summerhill School SA Grade 2 learner Atarah Mujera has celebrated a major milestone by publishing her first book, AtaBelle Discovers the Wonders of Creation.

Released late last year while Atarah was still in Grade 1, the heartwarming children’s book has brought immense pride to the school community.

Atarah expressed her motivation for writing the book. “I wrote AtaBelle Discovers the Wonders of Creation because I love how God made our world amazing, and I wanted to share that with other children.”
Her words reflect a genuine desire to inspire joy and appreciation for the beauty of creation. She added, “Every day is a new adventure, and I love discovering the beauty in God’s creation. Writing lets me share that wonder with everyone.”

Atarah’s adventurous spirit and creativity are influenced by her mother, Tinashe Mujera an accomplished author who encourages her to explore her imagination. Her mother shared her pride in Atarah’s journey, saying, “Watching her explore her creativity and share her love for the world fills my heart with pride and happiness. I am so blessed to support her on this amazing journey.”

Atarah’s teacher, Ashmika Kannayalal, also expressed pride in her achievements, stating, “Her hard work has truly paid off. I am grateful to have been part of her journey. Keep shining, Atarah, and remember, the sky is the limit.”
The support from her family and school provides a strong foundation for Atarah as she continues her creative endeavours.
