“The case was postponed to 2 December for the docket to be disclosed to the defence,” said Bateman.
Mogaile faces charges of culpable homicide, reckless driving, and negligent driving following a crash that claimed the life of a 9‑year‑old.
According to reports, Mogaile’s black BMW veered off the road and collided head‑on with Keo Mavimbela’s red Hyundai, killing her 9‑year‑old Gomolemo. The accident occurred on October 30, 2024, along Andrew Mpheto Drive.

Thando Khethiwa, the son of Mavimbela’s friend Carol, was also critically injured in the crash.
The speedy winger was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time. It is further alleged that he fled the scene before handing himself over to the Rabie Ridge Police later that day.
Mogaile has since been released on R20 000 bail.
