1-year of combined success for Glen Austin House

With their first full year as a combined school over, Glen Austin House is looking back on the successes of the year, and looking forward to what 2026 has to offer.

For Glen Austin House, formerly Glen Austin High School, the 2025 academic year has been a landmark year, marking their first official year as a combined school – a solid year of unity and growth.

School principal Hennie du Toit said they expanded to include a fully operational early childhood development centre and a primary school, now offering quality education from 24 months to Grade 12, while upholding their high–school values.

“This significant milestone reflects our commitment to providing a seamless educational journey for our learners, and it has reinforced our reputation as a school that truly cares about the holistic development of each child. Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth transition and to create a nurturing environment where every student can thrive.”

Du Toit said the key highlights for 2025 include the school’s open day, an inspiring awards ceremony, where learners received scholarships for outstanding achievement, and a memorable family fun day, which brought the community together.

He said in 2026, the school will introduce a more tech–oriented curriculum.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our sponsors, partners, collaborators, parents, staff, and learners for their dedication and support throughout 2025. Your commitment makes Glen Austin House a wonderful community.”
