For one outstanding 2025 matriculant, hard work in the classroom has paid off in more ways than one.

Tiyiselani Prudence Zwane, a top-performing learner from JB Matabane Secondary School, not only achieved exceptional academic results but also walked away with a R10 000 reward from Boulders Shopping Centre’s Matric Results Incentive, a prize designed to help local learners take the next step toward their dreams.

Tiyiselani’s achievements are nothing short of remarkable. She secured seven distinctions, scoringmore than 90% in mathematics and physical science, and has earned a place at the University of the Witwatersrand to pursue actuarial science and mathematical sciences statistics.

When asked about her award, Tiyiselani expressed her excitement, stating she was ‘ecstatic and over the moon’ to receive the R10 000 prize. She recognised that this financial boost would significantly aid her as she embarked on her university journey this year.
