Reddford House Blue Hills is proud of Zuhayr Mahomed’s 702 Dis-Chem Junior Brain Game achievement

His impressive track record caught the attention of the competition judges, who were impressed by his performance in the live on-air heat.

Reddford House Blue Hills Grade 6 learner Zuhayr Mahomed showcased his incredible knowledge in the 702 Dis-Chem Junior Brain Game.

The competition, which tests the general knowledge of children aged between 11–14, challenges participants to answer as many questions correctly as possible within 60 seconds.

Zuhayr, who loves playing the guitar, watching tennis, solving Rubik’s cubes, and has a particular fondness for maths, decided to put his knowledge to the test.

His impressive track record caught the attention of the competition judges, who were impressed by his performance in the live on-air heat on January 31.

He emerged victorious from his heat, securing a place in the finals to compete against other daily winners.

The finals were held at Brooklyn Mall on February 4 where Zuhayr narrowly missed out on the top spot, placing second with an impressive score of 16 correct answers, just one point shy of the winner.

His parents and the school are proud of his achievements, as he continues to serve as an ambassador for Reddford House Blue Hills.
Zuhayr’s achievements extend beyond the classroom, having previously participated in numerous guitar competitions, including Kids with Talent SA.
With an inquiring mind and talent in various areas, there’s no doubt that we will be hearing more about Zuhayr’s accomplishments in the future.
