Mrs SA 2023 second princess Lechar Knezovich will welcome her first child this January.

For countless individuals, the journey of pregnancy is often viewed as a time to hit the pause button and set aside personal ambitions and dreams.

However, for Noordwyk resident Lechar Knezovich, this period can also serve as a remarkable time of empowerment and growth.

She believes it represents “a season to embrace your ambitions while preparing to welcome new life into the world”.

At 34 years old, Knezovich has made quite a name for herself, being crowned the second princess in the 2023 Mrs SA competition, winning the Mrs SA Social Media title, and serving as a mentor for Mrs SA 2025.

This January, she joyfully welcomed her first child, marking a significant milestone in her life.

Reflecting on her experiences from the previous year, Knezovich shared, “As I stood on various stages delivering keynote talks, all the while with my baby girl growing inside me, I came to realise something truly profound – pregnancy does not limit you; rather, it transforms you.”

She expressed how every moment of her journey was a powerful reminder of the strength that resided within her. This strength, she noted, comes not just from the physical act of carrying new life but also from the unwavering determination to keep moving forward in the face of challenges.

“My talks, which often centred around themes of confidence and resilience, felt more impactful than ever before.”

Knezovich emphasised that she was not merely sharing her own story through these talks, she was speaking on behalf of her daughter and every woman who has ever found themselves doubting their ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and aspirations.
