Mrs SA 2023’s second princess is a proud ambassador

"It is truly astonishing what one can achieve in a mere year and the unexpected paths that lie ahead," says the second princess.

Mrs South Africa 2023 second princess and Noordwyk resident Lechar Knezovich writes:

In one of the most stylish golfing events of the year, Mrs South Africa held its eighth annual golf day on May 26, combining a passion for the sport with its commitment to women’s empowerment.

Reflecting on my experience attending the golf day as a semi-finalist and now returning as Mrs South Africa’s Second Princess, I can’t help but marvel at my personal growth.

Once filled with nerves during the semi-finals, today I confidently addressed the ladies, sharing my journey and offering them valuable tips to prepare for their own semi-finals.

It is truly astonishing what one can achieve in a mere year and the unexpected paths that lie ahead.

As I sit among these remarkable queens on a panel speaking to the semi-finalists, I am reminded that consistency and hard work yield remarkable results.

Continuously learning, evolving, and embracing new sisters within our sisterhood, we women become an unbreakable force.

The Mrs South Africa Golf Day was an extraordinary event that combined style, empowerment, and a passion for golf.

The Glendower Golf Club in Edenvale provided a breathtaking setting, ranked sixth in South Africa, and became the perfect backdrop for a day filled with networking, personal development, and joy under the sun.

One of the highlights of the day was the presence of the Southern Africa Animal Cancer Association (SAACA).

Their pop-up stand raised additional funds for their cause through raffle tickets.

Mrs South Africa has developed a close relationship with SAACA, contributing an impressive R100 000 through our programme’s philanthropic efforts over the past two years.

I am honoured to be a part of such an incredible programme that empowers women and uplifts our community.
