10-year anniversary celebration for Acts House of Education
Acts House of Education held a memorable event to celebrate the success of their school, which was launched 10 years ago, and all the achievements they've been able to acquire over the years.
On March 7, Acts House of Education, a Christian independent school in Glen Austin, Midrand, celebrated their 10-year anniversary.
The ceremony was aimed at highlighting all the achievements they have acquired since the opening of their school, and was full of performances from both their primary and high school choir, and even a performance from their dance crew.
The school displayed a video showing the successes achieved over the past years, as well as the extra activities they offer to their learners.

Recent achievements included two learners winning a gold medal and a silver medal in high jump and sprint, eight students competing at the district level in athletics, and four other students joining the Gauteng provincial teams in dance and sports.
To accommodate learners who are physically challenged, Acts House of Education constructed a wheelchair friendly bathroom and classroom ramps. In 2020, the school had their first batch of matriculants and were able to achieve an 80% pass rate.
Former learner at Acts House of Education Tyler Peter said: “The school not only taught me academics, but also taught me how to live with purpose, the value of integrity, self-control, and the importance of carrying myself as a well-rounded individual, ready to face any challenge.”

Moreover, the school does not only provide academic lessons to their learners but also teaches them about the word of God, in order to help them stay on the right path, even when challenges are thrown at them. This aims to prepare them for their lives outside the school, and prepare them for the future.
The school’s visionary, and church leader, Apostle Peter de Fin, noted that: “Excellence came out today in a lot of what people said. I’ve grown to have an appreciation for teachers because of the work they do when it comes to our learners. We have tried to create an environment where our learners can shine and be reputable, and that is what is excellent about our school.”
Harbouring over 300 learners, Acts House of Education hopes to accommodate more learners at their school, and provide them with all the love and education they need.
