Commercial crime, kidnapping, and burglary at non-residential premises among crimes ranked high in Midrand
While there are positive signs with some reductions in property and minor crimes, the sharp rise in organised and violent crimes, particularly commercial crime, kidnapping, and non-residential burglaries, calls for targeted strategies to address these issues.

Midrand has seen significant impacts in specific crime areas, including commercial crime, kidnapping, and burglary at non-residential premises, among others, placing the station among the top ten in these categories both provincially and nationally.
