Midrand Ward 132 councillor Annette Deppe supports Angel Tots Academy with educational donations

Angel Tots Academy principal Olipah Manyengawana expressed her gratitude, emphasising how these resources will bolster their primary focus on learning through play.

Ward 132 councillor Annette Deppe, accompanied by Ria Humans, made impactful donations to the children at Angel Tots Academy in Vorna Valley.

The councillor donated 30 backpacks filled with essential educational items for the preschoolers. Each backpack included a whiteboard, a marker, an eraser, and an alphabet chart. Additionally, there was a pencil case stocked with stationery, a water bottle, and paintbrushes, along with marshmallow eggs.

Angel Tots Academy principal Olipah Manyengawana said these donations would significantly enhance their commitment to learning through play.

“It will greatly assist in the development of fine motor skills and creativity as well as the promotion of emotional expression and cognitive growth, which are important skills that our preschoolers need to be equipped with,” said Manyengawana.

She expressed deep gratitude for the generous contribution of educational packs and backpacks. “Our Angel Tots and their parents are truly appreciative of this gift. We hope for your continued support in the future.”

Deppe concluded, “The children were thrilled. The head of the school expressed immense gratitude. It was clear how much they appreciated it.”
