Ria Sebetsa Security Services CEO looks to a brighter 2026

Danny Maduray, Ria Sebetsa CEO, believes working together with other law enforcement agencies can make Midrand a safer place for all community members.

Ria Sebetsa Security Services CEO Danny Maduray says in 2025, they noticed a drastic increase in domestic violence cases.

He said, while they have responded to multiple cases of gender-based violence (GBV), it was worth noting that the GBV scourge affects both men and women.

“We have assisted people with addiction problems and managed to get them into rehabilitation centres. We have engaged and promoted community initiatives, bringing back the spirit of ubuntu and togetherness.

We have also partnered with the Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative (VCSI ) team and Anti-Kidnapping Units, to name a few, focusing on bringing loved ones who were missing or kidnapped back home to their families. We have had many successes with our partners.”

He said this while speaking to Midrand Reporter highlighting Ria Sebetsa’s 2025 achievements.

Maduray said Ria Sebetsa also prevented cases where kidnappings, or hijackings, almost took place, though their bravery, boldness, and fast response, ensuring woman and children in their Midrand community remain safe.

When asked about plans for 2026, he said they look forward to a brighter community. “We encourage residents to have a broader perspective, by supporting local, attending community events and gatherings, and engaging with us.

He said Ria Sebetsa will continue to be the voice and helping hand they have always been.
