She began riding at the age of 10 and has since pushed herself beyond limits, competing in numerous showjumping events. Among her achievements, she won the 2025 Toyota World Cup Qualifier with her 16-year-old stallion, Kronos. Sadly, Kronos is currently injured, preventing them from participating in this year’s qualifier, scheduled for May 28–31.

“It is honestly heartbreaking that we won’t be able to be a part of this qualifier, but hopefully, if Kronos gets better, we will definitely participate in the upcoming qualifiers that will be held in the other provinces. It would have been lovely to do it here at home again, but there is nothing more important than Kronos’s well-being,” said Gliksman.
To stay fit for riding, Gliksman trains every morning and goes to the gym three times a week. Her passion for the sport also led her to establish Farnham Riding School & Livery Yard in 2008, where she teaches beginner riders and helps competitive equestrians refine their skills.

Beyond coaching, she trains young horses at the start of their showjumping careers. Currently, she is working with a promising 4-year-old stallion named History.

“I have been training History for about four to five months, and it has been amazing. I mean, he is only four, but I see him doing so well. He just reminds me of Kronos; the difference between them is that History’s career is only starting, and Kronos’ career is almost coming to an end.”
Outside of her professional life, Gliksman is a devoted mother to her 9-year-old daughter, Layah, who shares her love for horse riding.
She explains that sharing the same passion strengthens their bond: “Having the same interests in these sports with my daughter makes things easier for our relationship as we get to bond during the training sessions, the competitions, and overall in the sport as a whole.”
Looking ahead, Gliksman is determined to make her mark internationally. She believes that global recognition would elevate her career and open new opportunities in the equestrian world.
