Carlswald Prep Pom Group reigns supreme at FDDCMSA

Carlswald House Preparatory’s Pom Group emerged as champions at the highly anticipated Federation of Dance Drill, Cheerleading, and Majorette Sport South Africa (FDDCMSA).
The prestigious national championships event held at Wynberg Military Base, Cape Town from July 6 to 11 showcased the incredible talent and dedication of the school’s learners.
Under the guidance of head coach Chantell Jackson and assistant coaches Ashlee Simpson and Kerry Brandjes, Carlswald Prep’s team achieved remarkable success across multiple disciplines.

The team’s unwavering commitment and countless hours of practice paid off, culminating in a series of outstanding performances.
In a stunning display of precision and synchronisation, the preparatory’s Pom Group claimed first place in their category.
The team’s flawless routine and vibrant energy captivated both judges and spectators alike, solidifying their reputation as a force to be reckoned with.
The Mini Formation team secured an impressive fourth-place finish. Their seamless coordination and artistry left the audience in awe, as they delivered a captivating performance that demonstrated their dedication and skill.

Duo partners Paige Kasper and Tiisetso Malete left no room for doubt about their capabilities as they triumphed with a first-place finish.
Their flawless synchronisation, impressive choreography, and undeniable chemistry brought them well-deserved recognition, solidifying their position as standouts in the competition.

The school headmaster, Stewart Tagg said it was a tremendous privilege to watch the girls perform on the national stage.
“Their hard work and dedication culminated in first place at the national championships and this achievement has made us all so proud of them and their coaches! Well done ladies,” concluded Tagg.
