NOZICELO MATIWANE: I am happy to be the chosen one to receive these packages. As we are in desperate times, any assistance is better than having nothing at all. I wish shop owners can continue helping where they can.
Sizabantu Supermarket donated food parcels to residents who have been struggling to make ends meet since lockdown was announced and Midrand Reporter asked residents how they felt about the gesture. This is what they had to say…
OBIE MABHENA: I would like to thank Sizabantu Supermarket for what they did for some of us. They must continue giving back to other areas as I believe that they are also struggling like us.
DAVID MOHEBEDU: This means a lot to me and my family, as we had no solution on where to find food for the coming weeks. I thank the supermarket for coming through for us and I believe the food will last us for a long time.
EUNICE MOHLABANE: As I am not working it is hard to make ends meet and put food in the table. With these parcels I know I will survive for a long time and I thank Sizabantu Supermarket for bailing us out of the situation.
NOZICELO MATIWANE: I am happy to be the chosen one to receive these packages. As we are in desperate times, any assistance is better than having nothing at all. I wish shop owners can continue helping where they can.
