Amogelang Motau was the standout winner at the Hollywoodbets Super League Awards
The awards hosted at Vodacom World saw Motau walk away with the Player of the Season, beating Lebogang Ramalepe of Sundowns Ladies and Yolanda Nduli of the University of Johannesburg Ladies.
Amogelang Motau was the big winner at the Hollywoodbets Super League Awards ceremony on January 26 at Vodacom World, as Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies also claimed the other big accolades.
Motau, who recently completed a move to Club Tijuana in the Liga MX Femenil, played a role for the University of Western Cape Ladies, as they finished runners-up behind Sundowns for a third consecutive season.

The 27-year-old walked away with the Player of the Season accolade for her efforts, beating Lebogang Ramalepe of Sundowns Ladies and Yolanda Nduli of the University of Johannesburg Ladies to the gong.
Ramalepe, who helped The Brazilians retain their championship for a fifth successive year, did not completely lose out, as she claimed the Player’s Player of the Season award, as voted for by her colleagues.
Downs coach Jerry Tshabalala also claimed the Coach of the Year award, leading the team to 27 victories from 30 matches – with a staggering 114 goals scored and just 12 conceded.
The Top Goal Scorer award also went to Chloorkop, which Sundowns midfielder Boitumelo Rabale claimed for her 17 strikes throughout the campaign.

UJ Ladies shot-stopper Matshidiso Masebe claimed the Goalkeeper of the Season gong, while 15-year-old Durban Ladies attacker Khwezi Khoza was named Young Player of the Season.
