Falcon Ladies showcased their control early on, maintaining possession and launching numerous shots on goal.

However, Super Midrand’s goalkeeper Kgomotso Kubyi was impressive, blocking every attempt in the first half.

Falcon’s first real chance came when Nkateko Dlamini faced Kubyi one-on-one but missed the target. She had another opportunity shortly after but was caught offside.

Super Midrand struggled offensively, while Falcon continued to create chances, including a missed shot by Balungile Gumede after a clever cross from Busisiwe Zulu.

Despite some fatigue, Falcon maintained pressure, and Super Midrand finally managed a long-range shot from Lerato Matsimane, which failed to trouble Falcon’s goalkeeper, Nolwazi Ngidi.

Falcon kept pressing, with Njabulo Dlamini missing a chance after a well-placed cross from Precious Mguni. Kubyi made another fine save against Keabetswe Sebothoma’s one-on-one attempt.

As the second half began, Falcon continued their dominance, with Zulu’s shot saved by Kubyi.

After several attacks, Falcon earned a penalty when Njabulo was fouled by Snovuyo Gili. Zulu converted the penalty, putting Falcon ahead.

With the lead secured, Falcon pressed for more, and Njabulo struck the crossbar with a powerful shot.

Their relentless attacking play was again rewarded when Nomfundo Maseko found herself in a one-on-one position.

This time, the agile Kubyi was unable to stop the shot, resulting in a well-deserved goal for Falcon Ladies and sealing their victory in this thrilling encounter.
