Late winner hands Mayibuye Development victory over Black Wolves FC
Mayibuye Development came from behind to secure a dramatic 2–1 victory over Black Wolves FC in a Midrand Football League U13 match.
Mayibuye Development FC made a thrilling late comeback to defeat Black Wolves FC 2–1 in a Midrand Football League U13 clash at the Rabie Ridge stadium.
Black Wolves FC made a bright start to the match and took the lead in the 13th minute.

With the early goal, Black Wolves FC carried their lead into the halftime break after a disciplined first-half performance.
Irvin Nkosi, Black Wolves FC coach, explained how he felt about the match and its outcome.
“I’m not happy about the result because we lost because of individual errors and not because of our performance. But we still have a lot to work to do because it was the first time the team got to play in the league as compared to their opponents, who are used to it.”

Mayibuye Development came back with determination in the second half and began applying pressure in search of the equaliser.
Their efforts paid off in the 40th minute when they levelled the score at 1–1, setting up a tense finish. With both teams pushing for a winner, the match looked destined to end in a draw.

However, Mayibuye scored a second goal just five minutes before the final whistle, completing a dramatic comeback to claim the 2–1 victory. Mayibuye’s central defender Lindokuhle Ncube scored both his team’s goals.
Mayibuye Development coach Roy Molapo said he was not expecting his team to win because they started poorly.
The result highlighted Mayibuye Development’s resilience after recovering from an early setback, while Black Wolves FC will take positives from a strong first-half performance.
