Scratch that itch
FOURWAYS - Twitch, the latest comedy at Montecasino Theatre, is a high flying success.

The show, which opened on 23 July, deals with the birding pastime and combines South African humour, a little bite and a lot of laughs.Written by former FreeMe volunteer and Douglasdale’s own, Robert Fridjhon, it tells the story of two couples on a wacky birding weekend.

He will give a percentage of his royalty fee to FreeMe and their conservation efforts. Starring Michael Richard as the straight talking Finlay, Loise Saint as his wife, Maddie, and Russel Savadier as the serious Harper, with Bronwyn Gottwald as his wife, Venice.
The four compete for a trip to Mala-Mala, but their weekend in a bird-hide quickly unravels when they need to face the truths about their lives, loves and perceptions.

In the end, formalities are thrown out the door and a fast-paced dialogue rife with parody is welcomed.
