Santa is coming to the valley

The association is urging residents, especially children, to clear their schedules on 30 November, because Father Christmas could be knocking on residents’ doors to hand over gifts to all those family members who have been good this year.

Parents with good family members should contact the residents association to ensure Father Christmas stops by their home, at a small cost.

The fundraiser initiative has become an annual event. Last year the Vorna Valley neighbourhood was buzzing with excitement and festive cheer after Father Christmas travelled from door to door delivering gifts.

Motorists and pedestrians cheered on Father Christmas as he exchanged his reindeer for the comfort of a bakkie to drive around the suburb and deliver gifts.
