Red hot poker chill
MAGALIESSIG- With winter just around the corner, Montecasino's Big Chill Poker tournament is sure to heat things up with a prize pool of around R800 000.
The main event of the tournament will be held in the Montecasino Poker Lounge on the casino floor on 7 June and 8 June.
To keep things competitive and interesting, players have two entry options for the main event – to win a seat in a satellite tournament, or buy a seat into the main tournament. Satellite tournaments have taken place in the run-up to the main event every Monday and Wednesday since the beginning of May.
The final three satellites will be held on 28 May, 2 June and 4 June. The number of entries determine the number of seats. Registration takes place from 6pm on the night and play starts at 7.30pm.
Since seats for the main event will be capped at 80, players might prefer to ensure a guaranteed spot in the tournament by buying a seat straight into the main event for R10 000.
