MONTECASINO - Comedian, Marc Lottering straight from the UK will be bringing his side splitting stand-up comedy to Montecasino.
In addition to his own stand up show, he will also feature the hugely popular characters that have made this comedian a household name in South Africa.
The characters, Aunty Merle finds herself at the airport departures hall, armed with a freshly-baked tart for her friend Rose Kannemeyer who’s off to visit family in PE. Pop idol wannabe Galatia Geduldt is on a plane and finally off to Jo’burg to record her first demo after meeting a producer in a take-away in the Bo-Kaap. Pastor Brandon is taking a short break from the church, and is leaving for the USA after a tabloid newspaper published a story about him and his ‘laying on of hands approach’ as witnessed in a parked car at Sunrise Circle in Muizenberg. Smiley the taxi gaatjie (money collector) and everyone’s favourite cashier Colleen also make an appearance.
