MIDRAND – Spoil mom and have fun as a family at the Groenvoer Market in Midrand.
Spend time and have fun as a family at the Groenvoer‘s Mother’s Day market on 7 May.
Market manager Cathy Khoury-Prinsloo said a fabulous variety of stalls will be on offer, with Mother’s Day gifts at great prices.
She said, “Please support charity stalls such as Animals in Distress, the Lions Club and Midrand SPCA. There will be a variety of food, arts and crafts, plants, trees and bookstalls.”
Visitors can expect great entertainment which will include a demonstration by Snake City and one by Carol Taggart of Occasional Flowers. She will demonstrate how to take cuttings and propagate your own plants, a cheap alternative to improve your garden.
Birdlife South Africa will showcase various birds, and South Africa’s Got Talent semi-finalist Pavia Abrosie will dazzle with a belly-dancing routine. Ponyrides and a free jumping castle will be available for the youngsters on the day.
Visitors can expect 10 percent less on all dog and cat food, treats, mixed grain, wild bird seed, all brushes, buckets, brooms and rakes.
