Karou Charou performs in Midrand
MIDRAND – People from in and outside Midrand turn up for comedian and entertainer, Karou Charou's show.
Karou Charou, a comedian and entertainer, performed his Hot and Spicy family show at Sagewood Hall.
Charou has been an entertainer for eights years and is originally from Durban.
The comedian said he cut his teeth in the industry doing adult comedy, but his fanbase extends from young children to senior citizens and the show has been specifically designed as a family show to cater for this diverse market.
Speaking about the two-hour show at Sagewood Hall, Charou said, “I am happy with the turnout and the audience was responsive and seemed to enjoy the show.”
Charou also revealed that he has a new-found hypnosis skill which involves a live onstage hypnosis session; and he also called children onto the stage so they could participate in a segment of his show.
Audience member Ernest Maluleke said, “This man is funny, it is a good show, I enjoyed it.”
Charou’s next show is called Karma Sutra 2, and is an adult show which he will perform around Johannesburg in July.
