Local artists to showcase talent at Ivory Park Stadium
MIDRAND – Ivory Park Stadium will be the place to be on 1 September as local rappers and household names take to the stage.
The stage is set for local artists to showcase their talent at the Ivory Park Stadium on 1 September.
The countdown has started to what is said to be one of the most anticipated musical showpieces to take place in Ivory Park on Spring Day at 3pm.
One of the organisers Sonwabo Manxiwa of 1685 Music Group said he expects the community to fill up the stadium.
“This show is open for all rappers coming from Ivory Park and the surrounding areas,” said Manxiwa who is a rapper based in Ivory Park and also known by his stage name Rough the Mystic.
“We are optimistic from this platform that many of our local rappers who have been struggling in securing bookings in the past will become the beneficiaries of the project.”
More than 100 local rappers will share a stage with DJ Shimza, Nadia Nakai, rappers of New Money Records, Sleek, Massive, Money Mike, Neon and many more.
Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite at R100 each. Alternatively, you may make arrangement to buy a ticket from Rough the Mystic by contacting him on 073 883 3995.
