Shisaboy hopes to bring home the Sama28 title

Shisaboy's album, Kwaito pallet, was recently nominated in the South African Music Awards 28.

Shisaboy is a local kwaito and house music sensation who has surprised the music industry with his album, Kwaito pallet, which has been nominated for the best kwaito album in the South African Music Awards 28 (Sama28).

The album was released in January and includes the hit song “Into Enzima”, featuring Nathi.

Shisaboy, being the only Mpumalanga artist to be nominated for the Sama28, continues to fly the local flag high as he is getting recognition and prominence around the country and in the music industry. He aims to bring the Sama28 title back to Mpumalanga.

 

 


Shisaboy’s manager, Lungile Mnyakeni, said, “We are pleading with everyone to help us bring this award home. There will not be any public vote, but we ask fans and all Mpumalanga people to visit the Sama28 Facebook page and mention @Shisaboy #BestKwaitoAlbum as many times as they can.”

Shisaboy was nominated alongside the popular duo Amaroto (Reece Madlisa and Zuma), King Razo, Simply Eugene and Sukiri Papa.
