The proud mother of four children, Mlombo’s family has grown to include 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Although she lost her husband in 1981, she continued to cherish the memories they created together and takes pride in the family they built.

Growing up, Mlombo always wanted to be a farmer. She said working in the fields has brought her joy and purpose over the years, and she believes that it taught her patience, resilience and the value of hard work. Known for her warm smile and welcoming nature, she said happiness comes from treating others with love and respect.

“Life is better when we respect one another. Kindness costs nothing, and it brings people together,” she said.

She encouraged people to make healthy choices and look after themselves. She believes that eating healthily is what kept her going for all these years. Mlombo said she enjoys sharing meals with loved ones, with beef curry remaining her favourite dish.
“Take care of your health by eating healthy meals. A healthy body helps you enjoy life and spend more time with your loved ones,” she said.
She expressed gratitude for her blessings and for the years God has granted her.
