TS Galaxy must win three to have a chance to finishing top 8

Following a week-long break, DStv Premiership campaigners, TS Galaxy, will host Orlando Pirates at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday in what already promises to be a cracker of a game.

Kick-off is at 15:00. Galaxy, who are still eying a spot in the top eight, are currently on position nine with 32 points after 27 games.

They are just a point behind eighthplaced Baroka FC, who have 33 points after having played 28 games. Galaxy had an opportunity to go up when they hosted the on-form Golden Arrows at Mbombela Stadium last Wednesday, but they were humiliated by 3-0 Before this, they lost 1-0 at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns.

The last time Galaxy won a league game was on May 1, when they beat Cape Town City by 1-0.

This time around, Galaxy wanted to bounce back against the Pirates and keep their hopes of finishing within the top eight
alive.

“The lads are working diligently at training as they look to get back to winning ways. They understand the importance of collecting points in the last three games. They are still in a prime position to finish in the top eight,” said the Rockets’ spokesperson, Mini Mkhize.
After this clash, Galaxy will turn their attention to Stellenbosch FC and Kaizer Chiefs, who are also eyeing that topeight spot.
