Police looking for killers of two foreign nationals

Information at the police's disposal reveals that the suspects, who were masquerading as police officers, went into a house belonging to the Headman of Mgobodzi, where the two victims were renting rooms at the back.

Police in Tonga have launched a manhunt for two men who fatally wounded two foreign nationals on Saturday at their rented apartment in Mgobodzi Trust, outside Malelane.

The suspects first knocked at the main house (the Headman’s house) but were denied entry. They then went to the back rooms, took the victims with to the main house and instructed them to tell the occupants in the house that they (suspects) are police officers so they must open the door, but they (occupants) refused.

They then went back to the backrooms with the victims and shot them both on the head and fled from the scene. They further stole the victims’ cellphones which were later found abandoned on the main road to Sibange.
