Little Alec the clown added authenticity to the show with his antics between acts and the onligatory balloon animals for the youngsters. Although presented in a slightly smaller than expected arena, the show provided a closeness unique to these type of performances.

With the smaller circus ring, every seat in the house feels like front row and the children truly get the full experience of animal acts as well as making interaction with the performers so much easier.

With seats ranging from R90 to R110 for ringside, the trip to McLaren Circus is well worth the money.

Snacks and a tuckshop at the tent entrance will keep the hunger pains at bay while the novelty shop will and a photobooth will help your children remember the night forever.

McLaren will be in town until Sunday September 1 and although tickets are sold at the entranceway ticket booth, bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.
