Waste remains uncollected in West Acres

This is causing so much of a health hazard that residents are even inconvenienced by garbage collectors, who open the plastics containg the waste, in search of valuables and leave them sprawled all over the streets.

NELSPRUIT – Waste collectors in and around West Acres extension 13 haven’t collected it from Thursday morning and it keeps on piling up at entrance gates of houses, flats and complexes.
This is causing so much of a health hazard that residents are even inconvenienced by garbage collectors, who open the plastics containg the waste, in search of valuables and leave them sprawled all over the streets.

The waste, according to residents, starts piling up over the weekend and will stay there, awaiting collection on a Thursday morning, but up to friday morning, it had not yet been collected.
Affected streets are Opal Street leading up to a local day-care centre, Barney and Friends, Kaapsehoop road, adjacent to Bosveldrus complex and many others.
