Land invasion biggest challenge
Police officers are not going to waste time if such activities occurred. Those who are involved will be arrested and face the mighty hands of the law.
MBOMBELA –Land invasion is one of the biggest challenges that is faced by different municipalities in the province.
The provincial house of traditional leaders stated that they will not tolerate people who occupied land illegally , especially in deep rural areas as it’s been discovered that there are people who are misleading citizens by selling stands to people illegally claiming that they coming from the tribal authority.
The provincial chairperson of the house, Kgoshi Lameck Mokoena indicated that those people who will be found on the wrong side of the law, will face the music. ”We have noticed that there are people who are selling stands illegally in other municipalities. We have learnt that some of them pretend to be delegates from tribal authorities while other pretend to be kings.
“This is totally wrong. This is daylight robbery because our people give those culprits money while they know very well that what they are doing is wrong and we are not going to play hide and seek, we are going to act harshly against those people as we reached an agreement with SAPS,“ he said.
He added that police officers are not going to waste time if such activities occurred. Those who are involved will be arrested and face the mighty hands of the law.
