Sadtu wishes learners good luck
"We believe more learners and teachers are prepared for these crucial exams as most schools held catch up classes during Spring holidays."

The South African Democratic Teachers’ Union (SADTU) would like to wish the 2013 Class of Matric good luck in their examinations.
Exams began on Tuesday for those who are studying Computer Applications Tech (CAT). Information Technology (IT) students began with their first paper October 9, 2013.
Said a statement from Sadtu Secretariat, “We cannot over-emphasize the importance of matric in one’s schooling life. We therefore urge every matriculant to aim to pass, but get a quality pass. A better mark, more especially the one with critical subjects like Maths, Physical Science, Life Sciences, Geography, Accounting and Economics opens doors for better tertiary education which will lead to employability and an end to poverty.
“We believe more learners and teachers are prepared for these crucial exams as most schools held catch up classes during Spring holidays. During the examinations, many learners and families are filled with anxiety over whether they will pass this crucial class that is practically a gate to changing their lives for the better.
“We would like to urge parents not to add more pressure to their children during this time but to provide good support. To the learners, please stay calm and focused,” it ended.
